The Bespoke Aftercare Service

The Bespoke Aftercare Service: A Higher Level of Support for the most demanding phases of early recovery

“A six-month, highly personalised aftercare programme offering rapid-response therapy, discreet coordination with your support network, and a seamless continuation of care after residential treatment.”

For some clients, the initial months after treatment bring unique pressures: complex family systems, international commitments, or work demands that don’t pause for recovery. At this stage, flexibility, rapid response, and discreet coordination become essential.

The bespoke aftercare service is designed to meet this need. It provides:

  • Priority booking and rapid response times to ensure availability when challenges arise.
  • Increased flexibility, including extended or intensive sessions when clinically appropriate.
  • Close collaboration with family members, PAs, or professional teams, ensuring a joined-up approach that safeguards both your recovery and your lifestyle obligations. Please note well; it is only with your informed consent that I would liaise directly with spouses, family members, personal assistants, or family offices of your choice to ensure a seamless continuity of care.
  • Enhanced relapse monitoring and accountability, discreetly managed to protect your privacy.
  • Deeply personalised therapeutic plans, created after a full initial consultation and tailored to the complexities of your situation.

Importantly, this service exists because many clients and families request this additional support during early recovery. It reflects the reality that relapse risk and emotional vulnerability are elevated in the early months. The bespoke service is therefore not about “adding extras,” but about responding compassionately to a genuine clinical and emotional need.

Note on Fees: Fees for the bespoke aftercare service differ from standard session rates and are provided following a comprehensive initial consultation. This ensures transparency, fairness, and alignment with the depth of support required.

Why a Bespoke Pathway?

Early recovery is where treatment is tested by real life: travel, public commitments, family expectations, negotiations, deadlines, scrutiny, and often fatigue. A one-size model rarely fits. The bespoke pathway creates clinical steadiness around a dynamic diary, supplying rapid access, structured accountability, and quiet, protective coordination so you can meet obligations without compromising recovery.

What “Bespoke” Includes

1) Priority Access & Rapid Response

  • Guaranteed priority scheduling windows and accelerated response times for urgent clinical matters (within agreed working hours).
  • Short-notice add-on sessions when clinically appropriate (virtual or in person).

2) Flexible Session Formats

3) Joined-Up Support (with your consent)

  • Discreet coordination with spouses, family offices, personal assistants, private physicians/psychiatrists.
  • Boundary-aware information sharing, strictly by your written informed consent, to maintain privacy and clinical integrity.
  • Practical help establishing protective routines (sleep, structure, travel plans) that reduce risk.

4) Enhanced Relapse Prevention & Accountability

  • A bespoke relapse prevention plan with clear early-warning markers.
  • Light-touch check-ins (where helpful) to sustain momentum and support adherence to agreed strategies.
  • Trigger mapping (people/places/routines), with specific counter-measures and support scripts.

5) Depth Work & Stabilisation

  • Trauma-informed psychotherapy (psychodynamic foundations) to address underlying patterns—attachment, shame, identity, avoidance.
  • Addiction-specialist interventions for cravings, compulsive patterns, and nervous system regulation.
  • Optional Art Psychotherapy where words are limited or emotion feels “out of reach.”

6) Data Security, Privacy & Discretion

  • As always sessions are delivered via non-recordable, GDPR-compliant platforms.
  • As always clinical notes stored securely, accessible to no one outside lawful and ethical obligations.

Structure & Duration: A 6-Month Framework

While the service is tailored, many clients benefit from a structured 6-month path:

Phase 1 — Stabilise (Months 1–2)

  • Higher frequency.
  • Intensive relapse prevention, diary structuring, and trigger management.
  • Establish secure communication and consent protocols for any third-party liaison.

Phase 2 — Consolidate (Months 3–4)

  • Maintain rhythm; flex up/down around travel or events.
  • Deepen trauma and attachment work.
  • Strengthen sober rituals and relational boundaries.

Phase 3 — Sustain (Months 5–6)

  • Calibrate to longer-term cadence.
  • Rehearse “maintenance mode”: self-monitoring tools, refined safety nets, and contingency plans.
  • Prepare a post-package plan (standard ongoing therapy, tapered frequency, or signposting as appropriate).

Flexibility: Frequency and format are adapted to clinical need and your diary. Any intensive period (e.g., a demanding fortnight) is planned in advance where possible.

Many clients find that, after completing the bespoke programme, they naturally transition into a steadier rhythm of once-weekly therapy to maintain progress without the intensity of early-recovery support

Eligibility & Suitability

This service is appropriate if you:

  • Have recently completed inpatient or residential treatment, or are in a fragile early-recovery window.
  • Are navigating complex family, relational, or professional pressures (including travel).
  • Require rapid, discreet therapeutic input during high-risk moments.
  • Prefer proactive collaboration with a trusted PA/family office or medical colleagues (with your consent).
  • Value a quiet, clinically robust framework that protects stability without drama.

If your circumstances are better served by a standard weekly model, we’ll recommend the Post-Rehab Ongoing Support pathway instead, or we may combine elements of both.

Boundaries, Ethics & What This Service Is Not

  • This is a specialist psychotherapy service, not an emergency or crisis line.
  • Rapid-response applies within agreed clinical hours; crisis risks are managed via appropriate medical or emergency pathways.
  • All third-party liaison is consent-based and limited to what is clinically necessary.
  • If at any point a medical review, detox, or higher level of care is indicated, I will coordinate referrals to trusted consultants.

Working With Family, PAs & Professional Teams (By Consent)

The Role of Family and Support Teams

In many cases, recovery is not an individual journey but a family or organisational concern. Spouses, parents, children, or even family offices and private PAs may be closely involved in supporting a loved one after treatment.

With the client’s informed consent, I often work discreetly with:

  • Family members seeking guidance on how to provide safe, consistent support.
  • Assistants or secretaries responsible for scheduling and safeguarding routines.
  • Private physicians or psychiatrists to ensure medical continuity.
  • Trusted advisors who form part of the client’s wider support network.

This approach ensures that recovery support is integrated, discreet, and aligned with the client’s real-world circumstances.

Therapeutic Approach (Clinical Backbone)

Whether through ongoing post-rehab sessions or bespoke aftercare, my approach remains rooted in:

  • Psychodynamic psychotherapy to explore identity, attachment, and self-concept.
  • Trauma-informed care for clients with histories of abuse, neglect, or complex trauma.
  • Relational therapy to support communication and intimacy with loved ones.
  • Addiction-specialist interventions for cravings, relapse prevention, and compulsive patterns.
  • Optional Art Psychotherapy, offering non-verbal routes to healing where words may feel limited.
  • Collaboration with medical colleagues, including psychiatrists, for comprehensive care.

All work is delivered with confidentiality, discretion, and clinical excellence.

Fees On Request, Post-Consultation

As noted above, the bespoke aftercare service involves increased access, flexibility, and multifaceted coordination; fees therefore differ from standard session rates and are provided after a full initial consultation. This ensures the fee reflects your exact support requirements and is agreed with clarity and fairness.
